About Nadine Okafor

Nadine Okafor is a Professor in the Department of Public Health at International University Canada, where she teaches and mentors students across the School of Health Sciences. Her academic work focuses on global public health leadership, examining how public health leaders design and coordinate large-scale health interventions across regions and countries with widely varying resources and infrastructure.

Throughout her academic career, Nadine Okafor has developed a teaching approach that connects public health science with the leadership and coordination skills required to implement health programs at scale. She encourages students to think about public health leadership as requiring both technical expertise and the diplomatic and organizational skills needed to coordinate across governments, organizations, and communities.
