About Samuel Eze

Samuel Eze is an Associate Professor in the Department of Corporate Law at International University Canada, where he teaches and mentors students across the School of Law. His academic work focuses on mergers and acquisitions law, examining the legal frameworks and processes that govern how companies combine, acquire, or restructure through formal corporate transactions.

Throughout his academic career, Samuel Eze has developed a teaching approach that connects transactional law theory with the practical realities of deal structuring, helping students understand how legal due diligence, contract negotiation, and regulatory compliance come together in complex corporate transactions. He encourages students to think through mergers and acquisitions from both legal and strategic business perspectives.

In his courses, Samuel Eze draws on merger and acquisition case studies, deal structuring frameworks, and current research in corporate transaction law to help students build practical legal analysis skills. Students explore topics such as due diligence processes, transaction structuring options, regulatory approval requirements for major transactions, and the legal risks and protections built into acquisition agreements.

As an Associate Professor within the Department of Corporate Law, Samuel Eze also contributes to curriculum planning that prepares students for careers in transactional corporate law practice. He works closely with colleagues across the School of Law to ensure that coursework reflects current developments in merger and acquisition law and regulatory practice.

Samuel Eze places particular emphasis on helping students understand the practical, deal-driven nature of mergers and acquisitions legal work, recognizing that this area of law requires close attention to timelines, negotiation dynamics, and the interests of multiple parties to a transaction. He designs coursework that simulates aspects of real transaction negotiation and structuring.

Recognizing that many of his students are working professionals studying online, Samuel Eze structures his courses with accessible case studies, clear transactional frameworks, and consistent opportunities for applied discussion. His approach to online teaching emphasizes building practical legal skills that students can apply within corporate transactional law practice.

Students who study under Samuel Eze often highlight his ability to make complex transactional law feel practical and directly applicable to real corporate deals. His long-term goal as an educator is to help students develop the legal knowledge and analytical skills needed to support careers in corporate transactional law and deal advisory work.
